Cincinnati Tourny

Our favorite tourney of the year has come and gone! We had two teams do very well this year. Toby's team started out slow , losing their first two. They came back Monday and won three games and finished 2ND in the C division. Great job guys!!! Radical Mission played great defense all weekend. We won 3 games Saturday and cam back Monday and won 3 more. We went 6 and 3 for the tournament and finished 3rd in the B division. We just couldn't hit the ball , we batted 406 for the tourney, very rare for us. We had a great time and had several people come up to us and tell us we were a standout team and how much they enjoyed our team! Once again our goal was met! We have 2 very good teams that I feel God is using to do great things, pray that we will continue to be used. Great job to all the guys and a big thank you to all who helped send our teams to Cincinnati.

Cincinnati is here!!!

Please pray for out two teams as they will be leaving Friday for Cincinnati! Both teams have worked hard to raise money for the trip and we got to play each other in Sunday night league. It is a breath of fresh air to play another church team. I enjoy Toby's team, they are very focused on sharing God and are a great group of athletes also. So please pray for safe travel and protection for both teams. Good luck Toby, hope to see you in the finals.

Westmoreland Tournament

We played in Westmoreland on 8/15/08 and had a great time and made an impact! Our first game was at 11a.m. Saturday and our last was at 3:30a.m Sunday, a very long day! This was no church tournament ! We won the tournament we scored around 165 runs in 5 games, won a trophy, a case of balls and our wives were pretty sure we had lost our minds for getting back home at 6:30 Sunday morning! We played great ball; however, we did something even greater! We had guys telling us it was an "honor" to be beat by us, I've never heard that one before! As the day went on, more and more people can to talk to us and see what this Radical Mission team was about, how awesome it was to be able to share our faith with others! They just couldn't get over how close we are as a team ! They were very impressed with our attitude, this is what we are about! We got some interesting looks as we explained to them that winning was not our goal. By the end of the tournament our goal was reached by the "Grace" of God! WE came to conquer, not the scoreboard, but the ways of the world ! We prayed with five teams and showed the love of God to many ! What an awesome God we serve! That beats any trophy or case of balls ever won! Thank you guys for the example you set daily for our God!
